Jennifer Steimer: Operations Director

Jennifer Steimer received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the spring of 2002. As an intern at the Amherst Survival Center, she became interested in the role of non-profit organizations within our society. She earned her online casino masters degrees at The Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research between 2004 and 2006. In the Spring of 2006, Jennifer traveled to Haiti with the Haiti Orphans Project to supply and secure stable medical care, education, and food sources to an orphanage. Later that spring, she attended a 17-day intensive training in Toronto ONT, which was organized by Training For Change. This training included four state-of-the-art workshops promoting democratic leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution that were designed specifically for community activists, workshop facilitators, and social justice advocates.
